Eurostars Call 11 for projects – deadline September 2026

EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars is a European innovation programme set up by EUREKA in collaboration with the European Commission. EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars focuses on research-intensive SMEs, and assumes the 'bottom-up' principle: EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars puts SMEs in the driving seat, supports small consortia, and promotes market-oriented projects in themes that the SMEs themselves determine. Every year, two calls are launched.

Eureka Call: collaborate internationally on an R&D project around lightweighting design

The Transnational Eureka Lightweighting Call 2026 is now open. This Eureka call supports international research and development projects around lightweighting design: smart design and material solutions that make products lighter, more sustainable, repairable, reusable, or recyclable. Submissions can be made until October 8, 2026.

FPS Public Health launches 'Circular by Design' call for projects

The FPS Public Health has launched the ‘Circular by Design’ call for projects, aimed at Belgian SMEs, start-ups, and social economy organisations developing innovative products, services, or business models based on the principles of the circular economy. With a total budget of €600.000, the call seeks to accelerate the implementation of circular ecodesign in Belgian enterprises active in four strategic sectors: construction, textiles, packaging, and electrical and electronic equipment.

New RAMP call, submit pre-proposals to VLAIO until 22 September 2026

The first call for the RAMP programme has been launched. RAMP stands for 'Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition'. It is a partnership under Horizon Europe that focuses on research and innovation regarding sustainable and efficient raw material supply. 37 funding agencies from 25 countries are participating in the first Joint Transnational Call, including VLAIO. Pre-proposals can be submitted until 22 September 2026.

Province of Antwerp launches Innovation Fund: up to 1 million euros in subsidy per innovation project

The Province of Antwerp is launching the Province of Antwerp Innovation Fund (‘Innovatiefonds Provincie Antwerpen’). With project subsidies of up to 1 million euros for enterprises, the province aims to support innovation projects that make the Antwerp economy stronger, more sustainable, and more future-oriented.

CBE JU: €170.7 million call for project proposals launched

The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has launched its 2026 call for project proposals. A total budget of €170.7 million has been allocated to support the development and scale-up of circular bio-based innovations across 13 topics. The call is open until 22 September 2026.

Horizon Europe 2026 Call: Circular economy and bioeconomy sectors

The Horizon Europe 2026 Cluster 6 call for proposals under the destination 'Circular economy and bioeconomy sectors' is now open. An overall indicative budget of €101 million has been reserved to support projects across 11 topics, including circular plastic food packaging, textile recycling, critical raw material recovery and bio-based innovation and standardization.
