Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) technologies are critical for achieving climate neutrality hard-to-abate sectors and suppoǖing net-zero strategies. This analysis, conducted by Mynd-Ware for Essenscia, provides a patent-based perspective on the CCUS innovation landscape. The study examines 20,346 patent families published over the past decade, using AI-driven topic modelling to identify trends, key players, and emerging opportunities across capture, storage, and utilisation technologies.
