BIOVERTOL 1

The BIOVERTOL project (part 1 and 2) aims at the creation of new intellectual property, technological knowledge in the universities, new process technology and new economic value chain in Flanders at the industrial partners, which are based on the catalytic conversion of short-chain (light ) bio-alcohol monomers (or mixtures thereof) to long-chain (heavier), bio-branched alcohols (or mixtures thereof) with a fixed well-defined branching, and chain length.
