Innovation & Patents: Negotiating a technical license – prepared at the negotiating table (+company visit to Soudal)
Turnhout, Belgium
Sometimes you may want to negotiate access rights to an invention patented by third parties. Or you may find yourself at the negotiating table out of necessity to resolve a conflict. This is not an easy task for SMEs and start-ups. During this practical and interactive information session, we will guide you through the entire process. We will start with an introduction to the topic and your business-related questions. How do I prepare, who do I send, who speaks, etc.? You will then be divided into groups and put to work. We will conclude with a report-out and a company testimonial.
This information session is preceded by a company visit. Due to its interactive nature, this session is exclusively for participants from the business world and Tech Transfer Offices.
This workshop is particularly suitable for: corporate lawyers and patent attorneys, R&D managers, business developers, sales key accounts, Tech Transfer employees, and other decision-makers within the company.
Speakers: Valentin de le Court and Laurens Dauwe, partners at Osborne Clarke.
