Digitalisation offers significant opportunities for the chemicals and plastics industry, from higher productivity to smarter and more reliable processes. At the same time, an increasingly connected industry is also more exposed to cyber threats. Therefore, VLAIO helps companies strengthen their cybersecurity and prepare for potential cyber incidents.

Get support to strengthen your cybersecurity

Companies do not have to tackle cybersecurity challenges on their own. Through its cybersecurity improvement trajectories, VLAIO helps Flemish companies get expert advice and guidance to better protect their business against cyber threats.

For SMEs and social enterprises, VLAIO covers 50% of the cost of external advice and guidance from selected partners. Companies that do not meet the SME criteria but fall within the scope of NIS2 can receive support covering 35% of the cost. VLAIO currently offers three types of trajectories, ranging from an initial analysis and action plan to more extensive, tailored guidance to address specific security issues.

Discover Catalisti's approach to digitalisation at Antwerp Chem-Tech Connect

Antwerp Chem-Tech Connect

At Catalisti, we see digitalisation as an important enabler for a more competitive, sustainable and resilient chemicals and plastics industry. This is also a key topic at the upcoming Antwerp Chem-Tech Connect, organised by the City of Antwerp, BlueChem and The Beacon with the support of Catalisti.

The event brings together the ChemTech and PortTech innovation ecosystems at a time when both are undergoing major transformations driven by the energy transition, circularity, digitalisation and the need for more resilient operations.

During the event, our Innovation Broker Mathias Jacobs will take a deep dive into Future-proof Processes, one of the innovation programmes in Catalisti’s new Innovation Roadmap, and explore how digitalisation, automation and reliability can help future-proof the industry.
