New call for proposals ‘Schaalklaar’ opens in early April
Are you ready to take your start-up to the next level? At the beginning of April, VLAIO will launch a new call for applications for the “Schaalklaar” subsidy. With this support, VLAIO helps young, innovative companies to scale up more quickly and professionally.
Who is it for?
Schaalklaar focuses on start-ups with a scalable business model and clear growth ambitions. The subsidy supports strategic growth steps such as market expansion, team strengthening, digitisation, internationalisation, automation or the optimisation of business processes. This gives companies the space to approach their growth in a sustainable and well-considered manner.
The call for applications is open from 7 April to 30 April 2026, but interested companies should not wait until then. The application process requires thorough preparation and a clearly defined growth plan. Those who have their files ready in time can submit them as soon as the call opens.
How does the selection process work?
As in previous rounds, the selection process consists of several steps. After pre-registration, a limited number of companies will be invited to submit a full application, after which a jury will select the most promising growth companies.
