BIOLYNX is a fermentation orientated Biochemistry Lab based in Ghent. We investigate novel concepts that underlie the complexities of our field. All our projects are linked to our Core business: exploring and exploiting the endless possibilities of (micro-) Fungi.

At the forefront of research and development, we create novel products and processes from fungi and microfungi. Armed with a vast collection of species and cutting-edge equipment, we are capable of delivering customized solutions that cater to your exact needs.

At Biolynx we aim to create solutions for a better tomorrow. Fungi-based alternatives require less water, energy and land and emits up to 90% less greenhouse gas. Developing more ways to use this natural source of products in a sustainable manner is our priority. We believe that time has come to invest in a more sustainable future.

Evonik

Evonik Antwerpen is the largest site of the international group outside Germany. The site of 109 hectares has 9 Evonik production plants , each with their own specific functioning and own end products. Here we also have the worldwide largest plant for the production of methionine, an essential amino acid. Antwerp manufactures products for a wide variety of applications. We produce among others raw materials for the production of silicones for the electronics and communications industry. Our products are also used as a binding agent in printing inks, paints and coatings. Moreover, we produce raw materials for car tires, bleaching agents and environmentally friendly herbicides.

Manetco

Solutions for your Microfluidic and Flow Chemistry Projects. Manetco designs and manufactures custom parts and component assemblies for lab equipment, microfluidic and flow chemistry applications, such as static mixers, flow distributors, heat exchangers. We also perform validation studies of micro-mixers and other components on our dedicated test bench for high precision flow control.

Soprema France

SOPREMA is a family-owned company set up in 1908 in Strasbourg, France, which operates in the construction materials field. The product portfolio is mainly centred on waterproofing and insulation systems, coupled with light and water management. The waterproofing solutions include bitumen and synthetic membranes, as well as PU and PMMA resins. The insulation activity is split into polymer foams (PU, EPS and XPS), minerals and biobased systems (wood fibres, wood wool and cellulose wadding from paper waste). SOPREMA Group operates more than 120 manufacturing plants worldwide for all its activities and has 23 Research and Development centres, hosting more than 120 researchers. For almost 20 years, the research activity has been focused on implementing new sustainable solutions using either recycled or biobased products. This is carried out via national and international projects, as well as direct internal development.
