Group business trip to Japan: Technologies for the greening of industry
Are you a Flemish company seeking to contribute to the transition to environmentally friendly production processes in Japan? You can do so with Flanders Investment & Trade! Fifteen Flemish companies with technologies for the greening of industry can take part in the FIT mission to Japan. The mission will take place from 16 to 20 November 2026 and will visit the cities of Tokyo and Osaka.
Why you should participate
Japan is the world’s fourth-largest economy and aims to become carbon neutral by 2050. To achieve this goal, there is a demand for foreign technology to make industry greener and more sustainable. That is why, through this mission, FIT aims to introduce Flemish companies to the Japanese market.
Tokyo and Osaka play a key role in the greening of Japanese industry through their strong combination of policy, innovation and international cooperation on energy transition. Whilst Tokyo is primarily the financial and policy hub that drives green investment and regulation, Osaka acts as a major hub for industrial applications and the development of hydrogen and energy ecosystems.
