NAPOLY or nanocrystals in polymers is a SBO-founded research consortium combining research groups from Ghent University, KU Leuven and Flanders Make. They explore the challenges of dispersing nanoscale particles in a variety of polymer matrixes. This workshop offers insights in synthetic approaches, size-related properties and creating stable dispersions. The workshop is accessible to everyone with an interest in science in general, chemistry, physics, nanomaterial and industrial applications.
Eager to learn about nanoparticles?
Gaining more insight in stable suspensions?
Questions about novel characterisation techniques?
Concerns about safety?
Topics
- Nanoparticle synthesis and properties by dr. Phillip Green (UGent)
