Industrial Symbiosis Day Flanders
The SYMBA project is pleased to announce the Industrial Symbiosis Day Flanders, a one-day, action-oriented event dedicated to fostering industrial symbiosis and resource efficiency across the textiles, plastics and packaging value chains.
Taking place on 22 October 2026 in Ghent, Belgium, the event will bring together companies, research organisations, public authorities, innovation advisors and circular economy stakeholders to identify concrete opportunities for collaboration, resource sharing and cross-sector valorisation.
Organised by CENTEXBEL and Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, with the support of VLAIO, OVAM, Earth Plant & Fiber, BOND project’s Circular Agent, the Industrial Symbiosis Day Flanders aims to move industrial symbiosis from concept to practice. Through industry pitches, facilitated matchmaking, site visits and networking activities, participants will be invited to explore how waste streams, by-products, technical needs and underused resources can become valuable inputs for other organisations.
