The fourth ECOSYSTEX Conference will take place as a physical event from 22 to 24 September 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium in partnership with the University of Antwerp. This event will bring together textile experts, innovators, industry leaders, and policy makers for two days of insight and collaboration on circular textiles beyond recycling. It's also a great opportunity to network with people working on EU-funded textile projects — or anyone looking to get involved and learn from their outcomes.

What to expect

  • Three days of insightful discussions, networking, and collaboration
  • Interactive sessions led by CISUTAC, Circula-TEX, SOLSTICE, FABRIX, JUST FASHION, and CRAFT-IT4SD
  • Launch of the Bioeconomy Innovation Strategy for the European Fibres, Textiles and Apparel Industry by Textile ETP
  • Private tours: 
    • Showcase of a CISUTAC pilot: A semi-automated garment repair station at De Kringwinkel Antwerp that reduces repair times and makes it accessible to all staff
    • Fashion & Sustainability Walk, guided by MoMu Fashion Museum Antwerp
       
  • Optional third day with exclusive visits to: 
    • Centexbel, Belgium's textile & plastics research centre, in Ghent
    • Resortecs, a design-led technology company, in Brussels
